Support vulnerable girls and women affected by the Nepal Flash Floods‍

As the immediate emergency response to the catastrophic 2026 Nepal flash floods moves into the next critical phase, local non-government organisations are beginning to assess the longer-term needs of survivors.

Women and girls are among those facing particular vulnerability, including grief and bereavement, displacement, loss of livelihood, increased risk of violence and exploitation, and a lack of access to safe shelter.

The I Am Woman Project is supporting Kopila Nepal, a registered grassroots organisation in Pokhara that provides both short-term and longer-term shelter and support for vulnerable women and girls. You can read about their work here https://www.kopilanepal.org.np/

Until the end of December 2026, all funds raised by IAW specifically for women and girl survivors of the floods will be directed to Kopila Nepal.

IAW has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, therefore all donations in Australia are 100% deductible from taxable income

Thank you for continuing to stand with the women and girls of Nepal.
